The Road to November
The November 2020 General Election is shaping up to be the most important election of our lifetimes. The COVID-19 pandemic is creating new and different processes for voting, efforts at voter disenfranchisement are occurring, and the stakes of the presidential election are higher than they have been in decades. It is imperative not only that social workers be engaged in this election cycle, but that we strive to empower our clients and the communities in which they live to exercise their right to vote.
