Licensing in NJ

At NASW-NJ, we are committed to providing the social work community with important resources and information on the licensure process in New Jersey. Chapter staff and volunteers work closely with the Licensing Board and participate in the monthly meetings in Newark. Our goal is to ensure social workers receive current information on NJ licensing regulations and preparation for licensure, no matter what stage of the licensure process you’re in.

Licensing Consultations

Licensing can be tricky. There are a number of rules and regulations you must following as you both pursue a license and maintain it throughout your career. Sometimes you just need extra support as you navigate the world of licensing.

As a service to our members, we offer free licensing support and consultations during our weekly Licensing Q&A calls, held every Thursday from 12-1pm.
