Licensing Steps

As a professional, licensing is an important step in your career and identity.  Whether you are a CSW, LMSW, or LCSW we have the resources and tools you need to both navigate becoming licensed and keeping your license in good standing.  We know that the licensing process can feel overwhelming at times and confusing--that's why our members enjoy free licensing consultations as well.

Licensing Steps

Please note, during the current Public Health Emergency, the process for licensure has changed due to the Board of Social Work Examiners working remotely. Please find the updated process for applying for licensure below (updated 8/31/2023):

If you have applied previously by paper mail or by email and haven't received a response, you should click the link above and submit your licensing documents again via the State's online license portal. Please submit a licensing consultation if you have questions or concerns about this new process.

Licensing Consultations

Licensing can be tricky.  There are a number of rules and regulations you must following as you both pursue a license and maintain it throughout your career.  Sometimes you just need extra support as you navigate the world of licensing.

As a service to our members, we offer free licensing support and consultations during our weekly Licensing Q&A calls, held every Thursday from 12-1pm.
